Hello! I’m Sachin Chautala, an experienced guitarist, acoustic percussive fingerstyle artist, and passionate guitar educator with over 10 years of experience in the world of music. My journey with the guitar has been driven by a deep love for music, continuous learning, creative expression, and a desire to inspire others through the power of this incredible instrument.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching thousands of students, helping aspiring musicians transform their passion for guitar into a meaningful musical journey. Whether someone is picking up a guitar for the very first time or preparing for advanced international music examinations, my goal is to provide the right guidance, technical knowledge, and confidence to help every student reach their full potential.

My primary speciality is Acoustic Percussive Fingerstyle Guitar, a dynamic and expressive playing technique that combines melody, rhythm, bass lines, chords, and percussion on a single guitar. This unique approach allows the guitar to sound like multiple instruments playing together, creating a rich, rhythmic, and captivating musical experience.

Through acoustic percussive fingerstyle, I explore the creative possibilities of the guitar by blending intricate fingerpicking patterns, rhythmic tapping, body percussion, harmonics, and melodic arrangements. This style requires precision, coordination, musical sensitivity, and consistent practice, making it both challenging and incredibly rewarding.

I believe that the guitar is much more than an instrument; it is a powerful medium for expressing emotions, telling stories, and connecting with people through music.

Over 10 Years of Guitar Teaching Experience

With more than a decade of experience in guitar playing and education, I have developed a structured and student-focused approach to teaching. Having taught thousands of students, I understand that every learner has a different musical background, learning pace, and set of goals.

My teaching methodology focuses on building a strong musical foundation while encouraging creativity and independent thinking. I guide students step by step, helping them develop proper technique, rhythmic accuracy, finger coordination, musical understanding, and performance confidence.

From beginners learning their first chords to experienced guitarists exploring advanced fingerstyle techniques, I aim to make the learning process engaging, systematic, and rewarding.

One of my key areas of expertise is preparing students for internationally recognised guitar examinations offered by Rockschool and Trinity College London.

My approach to examination preparation goes beyond simply teaching songs. I help students develop the technical skills, musical understanding, performance ability, and preparation habits required for their chosen examination level.

Depending on the syllabus and examination requirements, lessons may include:

• Technical exercises and essential guitar techniques.

• Chord knowledge, scales, and fretboard understanding.

• Rhythm, timing, and musical accuracy.

• Performance preparation and interpretation.

• Sight-reading or other relevant examination skills.
